To provide a reinforcement method of a masonry structure capable of easily constructing a rod-shaped material and easily forming a plurality of fixing parts, and a reinforcement structure.SOLUTION: The reinforcement method of a masonry structure is a method to reinforce an existing masonry structure 10 made by stacking masonry materials 12, the method includes the steps of: forming a vertical hole 18 for inserting and arranging a rod-shaped material 20 that functions as a tensioning material or a reinforcing material in a vertical direction inside the masonry structure 10; forming a horizontal groove 26 leading from the surface of the joint 14 to the vertical hole 18 in a horizontal direction joint 14 of the masonry structure 10 near the height position corresponding to the lower end of the rod-shaped material 20 and above the lower end of the rod-shaped material 20; disposing and inserting the rod-shaped material 20 in the vertical hole 18, and inserting and arranging a fixing plate 24 having a recess 28 at the tip in the horizontal groove 26; arranging the recess 28 of the fixing plate 24 in the lateral groove 26 so as to sandwich the rod-shaped member 20 in the vertical hole 18; and fixing the lower end of the rod-shaped material 20 to the fixing plate 24 in the lateral groove 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】棒状材を容易に施工することができて、複数の定着部を容易に形成することができる組積造構造物の補強方法および補強構造を提供する。【解決手段】組積材１２を積み上げてなる既設の組積造構造物１０を補強する方法であって、組積造構造物１０の内部に、緊張材または補強材として機能する棒状材２０を鉛直方向に挿通配置するための縦孔１８を設けるステップと、棒状材２０の下端に対応する高さ位置近傍であって棒状材２０の下端よりも上における組積造構造物１０の横方向の目地１４に、目地１４の表面から縦孔１８に通じる横溝２６を設けるステップと、棒状材２０を縦孔１８に挿通配置する一方で、先端に凹部２８を有する定着板２４を横溝２６に挿通配置するステップと、横溝２６内の定着板２４の凹部２８が、縦孔１８内の棒状材２０を挟み込むように配置するステップと、棒状材２０の下端を横溝２６内の定着板２４に定着するステップとを備える。【選択図】図５
