Zusammenfassung:To provide a light source device and a projection device that can emit light of which red component has been made more intense.SOLUTION: A light source device 100 is for drawing red components, and includes: an excitation light source 110 for emitting a blue laser as an excitation light; and a wavelength conversion plate 150 having a phosphor layer containing YAG:Ce phosphor particles and ruby phosphor particles, the wavelength conversion plate receiving the emitted excitation light and emitting a wavelength band light. It thus becomes possible to cause the ruby phosphor particles to emit light by light emission of the YAG:Ce phosphor particles and to emit light of which red component has been made more intense.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】赤色成分の強度を向上させた光を照射できる光源装置および投影装置を提供する。【解決手段】赤色成分を取り出す光源装置100であって、励起光として青色レーザを照射する励起光源110と、YAG:Ce蛍光体粒子とルビー蛍光体粒子とを含む蛍光体層を有し、照射された励起光を受けて波長帯域光を発する波長変換板150と、を備える。これにより、YAG:Ce蛍光体粒子の発光を介してルビー蛍光体粒子を発光させ、赤色成分の強度を向上させた光を照射できる。【選択図】図1
