Zusammenfassung:To provide a multilayer piezoelectric microactuator for a suspension device of a disc drive which can position accurately a head slider.SOLUTION: A multilayer piezoelectric microactuator 14 comprises: a first single active piezoelectric layer 131; a second single active piezoelectric layer 132; and a third single active piezoelectric layer 133. The first single active piezoelectric layer 131 comprises a top surface and a bottom surface. The second single active piezoelectric layer 132 comprises the top surface, and the bottom surface on the top surface of the first single active piezoelectric layer 131. The third single active piezoelectric layer 133 comprises the top surface and the bottom surface on the top surface of the second single active piezoelectric layer 132. A first effective electrode length 131D is defined by the first single active piezoelectric layer 131 and the second single active piezoelectric layer 132.
