The heating unit 20 comprises an electrically conductive portion 30 and a relay unit 50. The electrically conductive portion 30 includes plate-shaped first and second electric conductors 32 and 33 arranged in parallel with each other along the longitudinal direction of a positive electrode plate 41, the first electric conductor 32 is connected to the power supply side, and the second electric conductor 33 is connected to the positive electrode plate 41. The electrically conductive portion 30 includes a plurality of strip-shaped lead electrodes 34 connected in parallel between the second electric conductor 33 and the positive electrode plate 41 at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction. The relay unit 50 includes a plurality of gate-shaped relay tools 51 bridged between one point in the longitudinal direction of the first conductor 32 and one point of the second conductor 33 facing the one point in the longitudinal direction. The high frequency heating device 1 further comprises a motor M for moving each relay tool 51 in the longitudinal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
