SIGNAL DETECTOR

To provide a signal detector which can precisely and firmly detect a flashing action that should be detected while the detector suppresses a noise effect related with a flashing period caused by an irregular change and the like.SOLUTION: A signal detector comprises an imaging part 10 to image a continuous picture and a frequency computing part 20c to calculate an average and a dispersion of a frequency spectrum of brilliance of the continuous picture and detects a flashing of a special signal light-emitting machine 200 that is a prescribed object, based on the average and the dispersion calculated by the frequency computing part 20c. Thereby, even if there is influence of noise of an irregular change, the signal detector avoids or suppresses a false detection based on the effect and precisely and firmly determines whether there is a flashing action to be detected or not, or whether there is a signal to be detected or not.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】不規則な変動等に起因する点滅周期に関するノイズの影響を抑制して検出すべき点滅動作を的確かつ確実に検出できる信号検出装置を提供すること。【解決手段】連続画像を撮像する撮像部１０と、連続画像における輝度の周波数スペクトルに関して平均及び分散を算出する周波数演算部２０ｃとを備え、周波数演算部２０ｃにより算出された平均及び分散に基づき所定対象物たる特殊信号発光機２００の点滅を検出する。これにより、不規則な変動等のノイズが影響しても、これに基づく誤検出を回避あるいは抑制し、検出すべき点滅動作の有無すなわち検出すべき信号の有無を的確かつ確実に判断できる。【選択図】図３
