Zusammenfassung:To provide a method of producing a nonwoven fabric which is not entangled into a net of a collection belt even if increasing a number of crimps of a crimped fiber.SOLUTION: The method of producing a nonwoven fabric 5 includes a process of accumulating crimped fibers 4 on a collection belt 51, and transporting the crimped fibers 4, where the number of crimps of the crimped fiber 4 is 15-50 pieces/25 mm, the average value of widths orthogonal to a transporting direction in concave regions 52G of respective surfaces of the collection belt 51 is 0.2-0.6 mm, and the average area is 0.1-0.4 mm2. The crimped fibers 4 accumulated on the collection belt 51 can be transported without floating if the average width orthogonal to a transporting direction in the concave regions 52G is 0.2 mm or more, and the average area is 0.1 mm2 or more. The crimped fibers 4 is hard to be entangled to the net 52 if the average width orthogonal to a transporting direction in the concave regions 52G is 0.6 mm or less, and the average area is 0.4 mm2 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】捲縮繊維の捲縮数を増加させても、捕集ベルトの網目に絡み込まない不織布の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】捕集ベルト51上に捲縮繊維4を堆積させ、捲縮繊維4を搬送する工程を備える不織布5の製造方法において、捲縮繊維4の捲縮数を15〜50(個/25mm)とし、捕集ベルト51の各表面の窪み領域52Gにおける搬送方向と直交する幅の平均値を0.2〜0.6(mm)とし、平均面積を0.1〜0.4(mm2)とする。窪み領域52Gにおける搬送方向と直交する平均幅が0.2(mm)以上、かつ、平均面積が0.1(mm2)以上であれば、捕集ベルト51上に堆積した捲縮繊維4が浮き上がらず搬送できる。また、窪み領域52Gにおける搬送方向と直交する平均幅が0.6(mm)以下、かつ、平均面積が0.4(mm2)以下であれば、捲縮繊維4が網目52に絡み込み難くできる。【選択図】図3
