To provide a suction port body of a vacuum cleaner, the suction port body that improves cleaning capability, and to provide a vacuum cleaner equipped with the same.SOLUTION: The suction port body 50 of a vacuum cleaner includes: a housing having a bottom 52a in which a lower face and a suction port 51a are provided; and a sheet-like member 57 which is provided in the lower face of the bottom so as to have a slidable contact with a floor surface. The housing has a peripheral part 52b having a pair of left and right corner parts 52k on the front side on both left and right ends, and further has a projection part 52y provided in the peripheral part.
