To seal a sterilization tank by securely closing a lid body.SOLUTION: A high-pressure steam sterilization device 1 comprises: a device body 11; a sterilization tank 2 installed inside the device body 11; a lid body 3 arranged on an opening 22 of the device body 11; a lock mechanism 4 that locks the lid body 3; decompression means 7 for decompressing the inside of the sterilization tank 2; a lock holder 32 that is placed on the lid body 3 and formed with a lock hole 32a; a lock pin 40 that is placed in the device body 11 and freely inserted and detached into and from the lock hole 32a; lock pin urging means 43 that applies a driving force for driving the lock pin 40 to the lock hole 32a in the insertion/detachment direction; and starting means 6 that causes the decompression means 7 to perform suction operation of sucking the lid body 3 toward the lid closing side.
