To provide a rice transplanter capable of planting the desired number of seedling mats to a desired field.SOLUTION: A seedling transplanter has a constitution in which a slip ratio is calculated from a sinkage amount of a running wheel into a field calculated based on a planting depth detection sensor 39a and a planting implement position detection sensor 71, and seedlings are scraped and planted on the field by a planting claw from a seedling mat placed on a seedling stand, and a taking amount of the seedling mat by the planting claw can be changed, and includes a seedling taking amount calculation part 70 capable of calculating a reference vertical taking amount from a field area and the number of seedling mats used for the field area.
