COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD

To provide a communication system and a control method that can ensure interoperability between an SDN and an EPS.SOLUTION: A communication system 1 using an SDN includes an interface DB 131 that records interface information indicating whether a UPF 130 has an interface with an EPS, a control unit 136 that adds and deletes a GTP-U interface to the interface of the UPF 130 that is indicated by the interface information to have an interface with the EPS, and an SDN transfer unit 134 that outputs packet data input to the interface to which the GTP-U interface is added in the UPF 130 from the interface defined on the basis of a value specified by the preset Offset and Length of the information shown in the header of the packet data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】ＳＤＮとＥＰＳとの相互接続性を確保することが可能な通信システム及び制御方法を提供する。【解決手段】ＳＤＮを利用する通信システム１は、ＵＰＦ１３０がＥＰＳとのインタフェースを有しているか否かを示すインタフェース情報を記録するインタフェースＤＢ１３１と、インタフェース情報によりＥＰＳとのインタフェースを有していると示されたＵＰＦ１３０の当該インタフェースに、ＧＴＰ−Ｕインタフェースを追加及び削除する制御部１３６と、ＵＰＦ１３０においてＧＴＰ−Ｕインタフェースが追加されたインタフェースに入力されたパケットデータを、当該パケットデータのヘッダに示される情報のうちの予め設定されたＯｆｆｓｅｔ及びＬｅｎｇｔｈによって特定されるＶａｌｕｅに基づいて定められるインタフェースから出力するＳＤＮ転送部１３４と、を備える。【選択図】図２
