To provide a highly convenient document management device.SOLUTION: The document management device 10 includes a storage unit 130 which stores one or more necessary documents associated with patient information 500, and presence/absence of registration of the necessary documents and the date in association with each other, a communication unit which acquires the patient information from another system, a display unit 140 which displays in a matrix fashion the document names of the necessary documents and the date, and a control unit 110 which outputs a retrieval result of necessary documents to the display unit at an arbitrary time point of the date.
