OPTICAL CONNECTOR

To prevent a guide hole from being damaged by a guide pin when an optical connector is removed.SOLUTION: An optical connector 1 comprises: a ferrule 10 with which a guide pin 16 is arranged on a connection end face 10a; a housing 20 for accommodating the ferrule 10 in the inside thereof; and a coupling 30 arranged on the outside of the housing 20 and capable of moving to the housing 20 in the connection direction of the ferrule 10. The housing 20 is provided with a pair of elastic pieces 40 capable of extending in the connection direction and elastically deformable in a width direction that intersects the connection direction, and the coupling 30 is provided with a tongue piece 50 arranged in a gap between the pair of elastic pieces 40, a wide-width part 51 of the tongue piece 50 the width of which is largest being larger than a narrow-width part 41 of the pair of elastic pieces 40 the width of gap of which is smallest.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 【課題】光コネクタの抜去時にガイドピンがガイド穴を損傷させないようにする。【解決手段】光コネクタ１は、接続端面１０ａに、ガイドピン１６が配置されたフェルール１０と、フェルール１０を内側に収容するハウジング２０と、ハウジング２０の外側に配置され、ハウジング２０に対し、フェルール１０の接続方向に移動可能なカップリング３０と、を備え、ハウジング２０には、接続方向に延びると共に、該接続方向と交差する幅方向に弾性変形可能な一対の弾性片４０が設けられ、カップリング３０には、一対の弾性片４０の隙間に配置される舌片５０が設けられ、舌片５０の最も幅が大きい拡幅部５１は、一対の弾性片４０の隙間の最も幅が小さい狭隘部４１よりも大きい。【選択図】図８
