Zusammenfassung:To provide a fuel reformer capable of highly accurately estimating poisoning amount of a poisoning substance to a catalyst.SOLUTION: A fuel reformer (1) reforming exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine (10) includes a reforming catalyst (21), a fuel injection injector (41) and a poisoning amount estimation section (31). The reforming catalyst (21) includes catalyst metal and a carrier comprising a material different from that of the catalyst metal. The fuel injection injector (41) injects and supplies fuel to the reforming catalyst (21). The poisoning amount estimation section (31) estimates poisoning amount of at least any one of poisoning amount of catalyst poisoning amount that is the amount of a poisoning substance that has poisoned the catalyst metal and carrier poisoning amount that is the amount of a poisoning substance that has poisoned the carrier.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】触媒への被毒物質の被毒量を高精度に推定可能な燃料改質装置を提供する。【解決手段】内燃機関(10)の排気を改質する燃料改質装置(1)は、改質触媒(21)と、燃料噴射用インジェクタ(41)と、被毒量推定部(31)と、を備える。改質触媒(21)は、触媒金属と、触媒金属とは異なる材料からなる担体と、を含んで構成される。燃料噴射用インジェクタ(41)は、燃料を噴射して改質触媒(21)に供給する。被毒量推定部(31)は、触媒金属に被毒した被毒物質の量である触媒被毒量および、担体に被毒した被毒物質の量である担体被毒量、のうち少なくともいずれかの被毒量を推定する。【選択図】図1
