Zusammenfassung:To provide unvulcanized belt-like rubber member manufacturing apparatus and method by which an unvulcanized belt-like rubber member, which shrinks, can be so made as to be a target length with good accuracy.SOLUTION: A front end and a rear end of a belt-like rubber member R, which is placed on a transport conveyor 2 in a flat state, is detected by a position sensor 13 over a width direction W of the belt-like rubber member R, at least one of a front end part Ra and a rear end part Rb is held by plural holding parts 8 which are juxtaposed in the width direction W, each holding part 8 is so made as to become a state that the same can be individually moved in a cross direction L by each move part 9a, and the front end part Ra and the rear end part Rb are held by a front end part holding mechanism 4 and a rear end part holding mechanism 7 respectively.
