To provide a coupling instrument that makes it possible, in the case of taking an elevator or moving through a narrow passage with a following mobile body coupled with a mobile body, to easily move the following mobile body with respect to the mobile body, is capable of suppressing swinging in the right-left direction at the time of moving the following mobile body, is capable of making the following mobile body hardly fall down, and enables a single person to push them.SOLUTION: A coupling instrument 1 for coupling a mobile body with a following mobile body to be made to follow the mobile body comprises: a mobile body attachment part 3 to be attached to the mobile body; a following mobile body attachment part 4 to be attached to the following mobile body; and a coupling part 2 for coupling the mobile body attachment part 3 with the a following mobile body attachment part 4.
