To provide an electrical apparatus such as a drum-type washing machine and a drum-type dryer machine capable of easily changing a door opening direction in a user's home.SOLUTION: In a drum-type washing machine 1, a body-side hinge opening 32 and a door-side hinge opening 34 are provided at a position for attaching a hinge in a bilateral symmetric manner, and a body-side door lock opening 42 and a door-side door lock opening 45 are provided at a position for attaching a door lock in a bilateral symmetric manner. The opening on the side without the hinge is covered with cover members such as a body-side hinge cover member 33, a door-side second hinge cover member 36, a body-side second door lock cover member 44, and a door-side second door lock member 47 so that the inside is not visible.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】ユーザ宅でドア開き方向を容易に変更することができるドラム式洗濯機やドラム式乾燥機などの電気機器を提供する。【解決手段】ドラム式洗濯機１では、ヒンジの取付位置となる箇所に本体側ヒンジ用開口３２およびドア側ヒンジ用開口３４を左右対称に設け、ドアロックの取付位置となる箇所に本体側ドアロック用開口４２およびドア側ドアロック用開口４５を左右対称に設けている。ヒンジを設けない側の開口は、本体側ヒンジ用カバー部材３３、ドア側第２ヒンジ用カバー部材３６、本体側第２ドアロック用カバー部材４４およびドア側第２ドアロック用カバー部材４７などのカバー部材で内部を隠すようにしている。【選択図】図３
