To create a high-resolution image from photographic images acquired when an imaging apparatus is in a hand-held state.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 10 comprises: an image sensor 12; an image sensor driving unit 22 that drives the image sensor 12; a high-resolution image creation unit that creates a high-resolution image with a predetermined number of photographic images in which respective subjects are shifted from each other and captured in a predetermined positional relationship as original images; and a shaking amount detection unit 24 that detects the amount of shaking of the imaging apparatus 10.
