Zusammenfassung:To provide: a communication cable with improved transmission characteristics when a high-speed signal is transmitted; and a method for manufacturing the communication cable.SOLUTION: A communication cable 1 includes a plurality of shielded core wires 4, each including a core wire 2 and a shield tape 3. The core wire includes an insulator 22 that individually or collectively covers the periphery of one or more conductors 21. The shield tape is longitudinally lapped so as to cover the periphery of the core wire 2.
