DIP TUBE

To provide a dip tube capable of enlarging a cooling area without adversely affecting the life of an inner peripheral brick and arranging the inner peripheral brick to a lower end of a core metal or a dip tube.SOLUTION: In a dip tube 1 for a vacuum degassing apparatus in which an inner peripheral brick 5 is arranged on the inner peripheral side of a cylindrical core metal 3, a double cylindrical cooling box 4 including an upper wall, a lower wall, an inner wall and a core metal is annularly arranged between an outer peripheral surface of the inner peripheral brick 5 and the inner peripheral surface of the core metal 3 within a range from the lower end of the core metal 3 to 50% of the length of the core metal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】内周れんがの寿命に悪影響を与えることなく冷却面積を広くすることが可能で、しかも内周れんがを芯金あるいは浸漬管の下端まで配置することが可能な浸漬管を提供する。【解決手段】円筒状の芯金３の内周側に内周れんが５を配置している真空脱ガス装置用の浸漬管１において、内周れんが５の外周面と芯金３の内周面との間であってしかも芯金３の下端から上方に芯金の長さの５０％までの範囲内に、二重円筒状であって、上壁、下壁、内壁、及び芯金で構成される冷却ボックス４を環状に設けた。【選択図】図１
