Zusammenfassung:To provide a medical fixing material and medical fixing tool which have both flexibility for fitting to a shape of a fracture-affected part and strength for protecting the affected part, are excellent in heat conductivity for sufficient heat radiation of the affected part, excellent in simplicity for quick treatment, and excellent in re-fitness according to a recovery degree of the affected part.SOLUTION: A medical fixing tool 10 is configured by a medical fixing material 11 including at least a thermoplastic resin and a heat conduction power having a higher heat conductivity than that of the simple thermoplastic resin and having a heat conductivity equal to or larger than 0.170 W/m K at 20°C. Heat of an affected part can be radiated efficiently to prompt recovery of the affected part. When the medical fixing material and medical fixing tool are immersed in hot water for a fixed time, they are deformed in a short time easily, thereby excellently achieving fitness to the affected part, re-fitness, and simplicity of treatment. When the medical fixing material and medical fixing tool are cooled and solidified, they obtain excellent strength.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】骨折した患部の形状にぴったりと適合する柔軟性と患部を保護する強度を併せ持ち、患部の熱を十分に放熱可能なような熱伝導性に優れ、素早く処理できる簡便性に優れ、患部の回復の度合いに応じた再適合性に優れた、医療用固定材および医療用固定具を提供する。【解決手段】熱可塑性樹脂と当該熱可塑性樹脂単体の熱伝導率よりも高い熱伝導率を有する熱伝導粉末とを少なくとも含有し、20℃における熱伝導率が0.170W/m・K以上である医療用固定材11から医療用固定具10を構成する。患部の熱を効率的に放熱することができ、患部の回復を促進できる。湯水中に一定時間浸した場合には、変形が容易かつ短時間におこなわれるため、患部への適合性、再適合性および処理の簡便性に優れる。冷却固化すると、強度に優れたものとなる。【選択図】図1
