To provide a light emitting device capable of emitting light with sufficient luminance without increasing the luminance of a light source.SOLUTION: A light emitting device comprises: a blacklight; and a light guide resin wire 30 that when one end part 31 is irradiated with light, emits side surface scattered light from a side surface part, and emits irradiation light 43 from the other end part 32. The blacklight is provided so that the one end part 31 of the light guide resin wire 30 can be irradiated with light, and the other end part 32 of the light guide resin wire 30 is provided so that the irradiation light 43 can be emitted to a fluorescent member 60.
