Zusammenfassung:To provide a rotary machine which further reduces friction loss to achieve improvement of the efficiency.SOLUTION: A rotary machine includes: a rotating body R which may rotate around an axis O and has a first facing surface P1 spreading in a plane intersecting with the axis; and a stationary body having a second facing surface P2 which faces the first facing surface P1 and forms a passage with the first facing surface P1. The first facing surface P1 is provided with a first protruding part 61 having an inclined surface 61A which extends to the radial inner side in a direction toward the second facing surface P2.
