Zusammenfassung:	To provide a novel method of producing carbon fibers produced from an acrylonitrile-based polymer, which is capable of melt spinning and can increase a spinning speed.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of producing carbon fibers, which comprises the steps of: a) adding an acrylonitrile-based polymer solution to a solution containing a glycol-based compound having a boiling point of 180 to 210°C to precipitate an acrylonitrile-based polymer; b) melt spinning the acrylonitrile-based polymer to obtain spun fibers; and c) performing stabilization and carbonization on the spun fibers to obtain carbon fibers.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】溶融紡糸が可能であり、且つ紡糸速度を増加させることができる、アクリロニトリル系重合体から製造される炭素繊維の新しい製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】ａ）アクリロニトリル系重合体溶液を、沸点が１８０〜２１０℃のグリコール系化合物を含むグリコール系化合物溶液に投入し、アクリロニトリル系重合体を沈殿させるステップと、ｂ）前記アクリロニトリル系重合体を溶融紡糸して紡糸繊維を得るステップと、ｃ）前記紡糸繊維を安定化および炭化して炭素繊維を得るステップと、を含む炭素繊維の製造方法。【選択図】なし
