MACHINE STAND AND ELEVATOR

To provide a machine stand capable of increasing at least one of strength and stiffness to improve earthquake resistance and of improving installation workability, and to provide an elevator.SOLUTION: A machine stand 5 has: a lower side steel 2 which includes an upper side flat plate 2a including an embedded part 3 attached to a floor 55 of a machine room and an upper surface 7 extending in a substantially horizontal direction; an upper side steel 15 which includes a lower side flat plate 15b including a lower surface 16 located above the upper surface 7 in the vertical direction, an upper side flat plate 15a located above the lower side flat plate 15b in the vertical direction and including an upper surface 17 extending in a substantially horizontal direction, and a vertical direction extension part 15c for connecting the upper side flat plate 2a and the lower side flat plate 15b, and which has larger stiffens than that of the lower side steel 2; and one or more bolts 30 for fastening the upper side steel 15 to the lower side steel 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】強度及び剛性のうちの少なくとも一方を高くできて耐震性を上げることができ、設置の作業性も向上できる機械台、及びエレベーターを提供すること。【解決手段】機械台５が、機械室の床部５５に取り付けられた埋込部３及び略水平方向に広がる上面７を含む上側平板部２ａを有する下側鋼２と、上面７よりも鉛直方向の上側に位置する下面１６を含む下側平板部１５ｂ、下側平板部１５ｂよりも鉛直方向の上側に位置して、略水平方向に広がる上面１７を含む上側平板部１５ａ、及び上側平板部２ａと下側平板部１５ｂを連結する鉛直方向延在部１５ｃを有し、剛性が下側鋼２よりも大きい上側鋼１５と、上側鋼１５を下側鋼２に締結する１以上のボルト３０と、を備えるようにする。【選択図】図３
