Zusammenfassung:To provide an upper part vehicle body structure which can inhibit increase of the vehicle weight to inhibit bending deformation of roof side rails 10 to the inner side in a vehicle width direction.SOLUTION: An upper part vehicle body structure includes: a pair of left and right roof side rails 10; and a striker 21 with which an upper part of a rear door DR is engaged. The upper part vehicle body structure includes: a second roof reinforcement 18 coupled to the roof side rails 10 at substantially the same position as the striker 21; a striker attachment member 23 to which the striker 21 is attached; and reinforcement members 22, each of which overlaps with the roof side rail 10 from the outer side as seen in a vehicle width direction at substantially the same position as the striker attachment member 23. The reinforcement member 22 includes a lower end located at the vehicle upper side relative to a joint position between the striker attachment member 23 and the roof side rail 10 and is joined to the roof side rail 10 overlapping therewith in a vehicle vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】車両重量の増加を抑えて、ルーフサイドレール10の車幅方向内側への折曲変形を抑制できる下部車体構造を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】左右一対のルーフサイドレール10と、リヤドアDrの上部が係合するストライカ21とを備えた上部車体構造であって、ストライカ21に略同じ位置でルーフサイドレール10を連結する第2ルーフレインフォースメント18と、ストライカ21が取付けられるストライカ取付け部材23と、ストライカ取付け部材23に略同じ位置で、ルーフサイドレール10に車幅方向外側から重合する補強部材22とを備え、補強部材22が、ストライカ取付け部材23とルーフサイドレール10との接合位置よりも車両上方に下端が位置するとともに、車両上下方向で重合するルーフサイドレール10に対して接合されたことを特徴とする。【選択図】図6
