Zusammenfassung:To provide an electrophotographic fixing member that has an elastic layer having a high thermal conductivity in a thickness direction, reducing the likelihood of the occurrence of destruction and plastic deformation, and having a low hardness.SOLUTION: An elastic layer 4 provided on an outer periphery of a base material of a fixing member contains filler that contains inorganic oxide. (1) In a binarized image of a first cross section in a thickness-circumferential direction of the elastic layer, and in a binarized image of a second cross section in the thickness-axial direction of the elastic layer, when A is the area ratio of a first filler in which a major axis/a minor axis when the shape of the filler is elliptically approximated is less than 1.5, and B is the area ratio of a second filler in which the major axis/the minor axis is 1.5 or more, 1.0≤(A/B)≤2.0 and 0.40≤(A+B)≤0.50.
