Zusammenfassung: | To provide a connection method of a joint which can easily connect a fluid pipe and the joint while using the joint being a general-purpose product whose internal peripheral face is substantially-true round.SOLUTION: In a method for connecting a joint 1 constituted of a cylinder part 4 having a circular- arc shaped socket part 6 having an internal peripheral face larger than a pipe end part of a flat pipe 2 in a diameter, rubber rings 10a, 10b as sealing members having elasticity attached between an internal peripheral face of the socket part 6 and the flat pipe 2, and a pressing ring 5 externally fit to the flat pipe 2, and pressing the rubber rings 10a, 10b to the flat pipe 2, the method has: a measurement process for measuring a flat shape including a maximum outside-diameter part L2 and a minimum outside-diameter part L1 at a pipe end part of the flat pipe 2; a first processing process for processing and forming a flat internal peripheral face by arranging a piece 7 extending in a peripheral direction at a point opposing a small-diameter part M1 including the minimum outside-diameter part L1 of the pipe end part of the flat pipe 2 on the basis of data of the flat shape of the flat pipe 2 which are obtained in the measurement process; and a sealing process for sealing the elastically-deformed rubber rings 10a, 10b along the flat internal peripheral face by making the pressing ring 5 pressure-contact toward the rubber rings 10a, 10b from an axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】汎用品である内周面が略真円形状の継手を利用しながら、簡便に流体管と継手を接続させることのできる継手の接続方法を提供する。【解決手段】偏平管2の管端部よりも大径の内周面を備える円環状の受口部6を備えた筒部4と、受口部6の内周面と偏平管2との間に装着される弾性を備えた密封部材としてのゴム輪10a,10bと、偏平管2に外嵌されゴム輪10a,10bを押圧する押輪5と、から構成される継手1を偏平管2に接続する方法であって、偏平管2の管端部における外周面の最大外径部L2及び最小外径部L1を含む偏平形状を計測する計測工程と、計測工程で得られた偏平管2の偏平形状のデータに基づいて、偏平管2の管端部の最小外径部L1を含む小径部M1に対向する箇所に、周方向に延びる片7を設けることで、偏平内周面を加工形成する第1の加工工程と、押輪5をゴム輪10a,10bに向けて軸方向から圧接させることにより、弾性変形したゴム輪10a,10bが偏平内周面に沿って密封する密封工程と、を有する。【選択図】図4 |
