Zusammenfassung:To provide a manufacturing method for a hollow pipe component that is able to easily improve manufacturing efficiency.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for a hollow pipe component, according to an embodiment, has a laminate formation and preparation step, a joining step, a cutting step and a molding step and manufactures a hollow pipe component from the laminate in which a first metal plate portion and a second metal plate portion are stacked. In the laminate formation step, a laminate is formed, in which the first metal plate-like portion and a second metal plate-like portion are stacked. In a joining step, a joined body is formed, in which the first metal plate-like portion and second metal plate-like portion of the laminate are joined through friction agitation at a friction agitation joining portion, In the cutting process, the joined body is cut to form a cut body including at least a part of the friction agitation joining portion.
