Zusammenfassung:To timely remove deposits while accurately predicting a deposit accumulation amount in an injection hole of a fuel injection valve.SOLUTION: An ECU 20 includes a deposit estimation part 27 for performing processing to estimate a deposit accumulation amount in an injection hole 15B of an injector 15 (step S2), and a fuel pressure control part 26 for allowing the fuel pressure rise of the injector 15 when the deposit accumulation amount is equal to or greater than a predetermined value. The deposit estimation part 27 integrates unit accumulation amounts as deposit accumulation amounts per unit time to find the deposit accumulation amount, and corrects each of the unit accumulation amounts according to a fuel injection timing for the injector 15. The fuel pressure control part 26 makes such a correction that, compared to the unit accumulation amount at the time the fuel injection timing is set as a first timing deviating a first period from the top dead center of a piston 5, the unit accumulation amount at the time it is set as a second timing deviating a second period longer than the first period therefrom, becomes small.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16 【課題】燃料噴射弁の噴孔へのデポジット堆積量を的確に予測し、タイムリーにデポジットを除去する。【解決手段】ECU20は、インジェクタ15の噴孔15Bへのデポジット堆積量を推定する処理(ステップS2)を行うデポジット推定部27と、デポジット堆積量が所定値以上となるとインジェクタ15の燃圧を上昇させる燃圧制御部26とを備える。デポジット推定部27は、単位時間当たりのデポジット堆積量である単位堆積量を積算して前記デポジット堆積量を求めると共に、前記単位堆積量の各々を、インジェクタ15の燃料噴射時期に応じて補正する。燃圧制御部26は、燃料噴射時期が、ピストン5の上死点に対して第1期間だけ離間した第1時期に設定された場合の単位堆積量より、第1期間より長い第2期間だけ離間した第2時期に設定された場合の単位堆積量の方が少なくなるように補正する。【選択図】図16
