In a first region excluding at least a part of a high speed side of the specific region, normal ignition Sa for starting SI combustion by generating spark at a second period of a compression stroke or a first period of an expansion stroke, and preceding ignition Sb included in the intake stroke or the compression stroke and generating spark at a timing earlier than the normal ignition by a prescribed amount or more, are executed by an ignition plug, and a fuel is injected from an injector at a timing to make the fuel exist in a combustion chamber at a time before the preceding ignition Sb. In a second region in which an engine rotating speed is high in comparison with the first region in the specific region, at least the normal ignition Sa is executed, and the execution of the preceding ignition Sb is restricted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
【課題】燃焼速度が速く熱効率に優れた部分圧縮着火燃焼を実現する。【解決手段】本発明の圧縮着火式エンジンの制御装置は、エンジン負荷が低い特定領域において、A/Fリーンの混合気が部分圧縮着火燃焼するようにエンジンの各部を制御する。特定領域のうち少なくとも高速側の一部を除いた第1領域では、圧縮行程後期または膨張行程前期に火花を発生させてSI燃焼を開始させる通常点火Saと、吸気行程または圧縮行程に含まれかつ通常点火よりも所定量以上早いタイミングで火花を発生させる先行点火Sbとが点火プラグにより実行されるとともに、先行点火Sbよりも前の時点で燃焼室に燃料が存在するようなタイミングでインジェクタから燃料が噴射される。前記特定領域のうち第1領域よりもエンジン回転速度が高い第2領域では、少なくとも通常点火Saを実行するとともに先行点火Sbの実行を制限する。【選択図】図8 |
