To provide an article formed by using a natural gourd in such a manner as not to be recognized to be the gourd by consumers or in the form so that the constriction of the gourd may not appear, while assuming raw material to be the natural gourd.SOLUTION: A natural gourd 1 has a constricted part 1c substantially in the center, so that the natural gourd 1 is cut and used in the form where the constricted part 1c may not completely appear. A sphere of a top half or a bottom half can be formed by cutting in a cut surface A, and the constricted part 1c itself is cut to thereby present a shape having an opened neck part in the sphere. Also, a cut surface lower part forms a hemisphere by cutting with a cut surface B. Also, by cutting in cut surfaces C, D, the left side or the right side of the cut surface C forms the hemisphere, and the right side of the cut surface D forms the hemisphere. As a utilization method of an article formed of the sphere, a vase and a balloon are present. As the utilization method of the article formed of the hemisphere, the tableware such as the tableware or the plates is present.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】素材を天然ひょうたんとしつつも、需要者にひょうたんであるとは認識されない態様、ひょうたんのくびれが現れないような形で天然ひょうたんを利用して成形した成形品を提供する。【解決手段】天然ひょうたん１は、略中央にくびれ部１ｃを有しており、くびれ部１ｃが完全に現れないような形で天然ひょうたん１を切断して利用する。切断面Ａで切断することにより、上半分又は下半分の球体を成形でき、くびれ部１ｃ自体を切断することで球体に開口した首部を持つ形状を呈する。また、切断面Ｂで切断することにより、切断面下部は半球体を成形する。また、切断面Ｃ，Ｄで切断することにより、切断面Ｃの左側又は右側は半球体を成形し、切断面Ｄの右側は半球体を成形する。球体の成形品の活用方法としては花器やバルーン、半球体の成形品の活用方法としては食器や皿等の食器がある。【選択図】図１
