Zusammenfassung: | To provide a distance meter, a distance measurement method, a thickness gauge and a thickness measurement method with which it is possible to measure the thickness or distance with good accuracy even under an environment where a problem with light transmission exists.SOLUTION: Provided is a distance meter for measuring the distance to a measurement object 6, comprising: a transmit antenna (e.g., transmit antennas 31, 41) for irradiating the measurement object 6 with a radio wave as a transmit wave; a receive antenna (e.g., receive antennas 32, 42) capable of detecting the center path of a received wave of the transmitted wave having been reflected by the measurement object 6; and a computation unit for calculating, from the center path of the received wave and the center path of the transmitted wave, a measurement spot (e.g., a first and a second measurement point coordinate) which is the coordinates of the measurement object 6 by which the transmitted wave is reflected and calculating the distance to the measurement object 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
