POLYISOCYANATE COMPOSITION AND COATING COMPOSITION USING THE SAME

To provide a polyisocyanate composition having self-emulsifiability and low viscosity which has excellent workability when diluted with an organic solvent and has excellent water dispersivity and water dispersion stability of a coating composition without requiring strong shearing force by high-speed stirring or the like when dispersed in water when used as a curing agent for an aqueous coating material.SOLUTION: There is provided a polyisocyanate composition comprising an allophanate-modified polyisocyanate obtained from an aliphatic diisocyanate, a modification agent and a catalyst and an isocyanurate-modified polyisocyanate, wherein the aliphatic diisocyanate is hexamethylene diisocyanate, the modification agent contains a nonionic hydrophilic group-containing monofunctional alcohol and the molar ratio between an allophanate group and an isocyanurate group is 15/85 to 65/35.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】有機溶剤での希釈時の作業性に優れ、また、水性塗料用硬化剤として用いる際、水分散時に高速撹拌等による強い剪断力を必要とせず、塗料の水分散度・水分散安定性に優れた、自己乳化性を有する、低粘度なポリイソシアネート組成物を提供すること。【解決手段】脂肪族ジイソシアネート、変性剤、および触媒から得られるアロファネート変性ポリイソシアネート、およびイソシアヌレート変性ポリイソシアネートを含むポリイソシアネート組成物であって、脂肪族ジイソシアネートがヘキサメチレンジイソシアネートであり、変性剤がノニオン性親水基含有一官能性アルコールを含み、アロファネート基とイソシアヌレート基とのモル比が１５／８５〜６５／３５であることを特徴とするポリイソシアネート組成物により解決する。【選択図】なし
