Zusammenfassung:	To provide a medical tube for providing respiratory gases to a patient.SOLUTION: A medical tube 6 comprises a tail 20 to connect an embedded wire 15 to an electrical component. The tail may comprise a flattened portion 22 and an exposed portion 24 to facilitate attachment of the medical tube to an electrical component. The tail may comprise a second flattened portion. One or more wires, such as a heater wire 14 or a sensor wire 18, may be embedded in the medical tube. The medical tube may comprise a connector that comprises a printed circuit board to which the one or more wires are attached.
