Zusammenfassung:To provide a linear motor which inhibits a frame from being deformed by heat generation of a coil to improve positioning accuracy of a movable element.SOLUTION: A linear motor includes: guide rails on which a movable unit having a permanent magnet may move; a frame which supports the guide rails and to which a coil unit is connected; a heat insulation member provided between the coil unit and the frame; and a heat transmission member in which one end is connected to the coil unit and the other end is connected to a heat radiation part. The frame has wall parts extending along the guide rails. The wall part is formed with a through hole through which the heat transmission member penetrates.
