Zusammenfassung:To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor capable of achieving high reliability while maintaining good electrical characteristics.SOLUTION: A solid electrolytic capacitor 100 includes a plurality of stacked capacitor elements 1. Each of the capacitor elements 1 includes: an anode body 2; a dielectric layer 3 provided on a surface of the anode body 2 and having a plurality of gaps 3a; a solid electrolyte layer 5 provided on a surface of the dielectric layer 3; a cathode body 6 provided on a surface of the solid electrolyte layer 5; and an insulating layer 4 containing an insulating resin 16 that insulates and separates the anode side and the cathode side, the insulating layer being provided on an anode side of the dielectric layer 3. The insulating resin 16 is filled in the plurality of gaps 3a included in the insulating layer 4.
