To provide a vacuum cleaner that can cope with more various cleaning forms while being made lightweight.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner 11 comprises a cleaner body 13, a gripping portion 14, and a suction side connection portion 15. The cleaner body 13 comprises an electric blower 22, control means 23 controlling operation of the electric blower 22, and a battery 24 for supplying power to the electric blower 22. The gripping portion 14 grips the cleaner body 13. The suction side connection portion 15 is provided in the cleaner body 13, and is communicated with a suction side of the electric blower 22.
