To provide a seat reservation system capable of providing users with more comfortable seating space.SOLUTION: A seat reservation system includes a terminal and a server that are connected via a network, and is for a moving vehicle that travels between a plurality of sections from a start point to an end point to carry users and includes a plurality of adjacent seat groups in which two or more seats are arranged next to each other. The server includes an adjacent seat time value calculation unit that, when a user inputs a boarding section that covers two or more sections, calculates an adjacent time value related to a time when an adjacent seat next to the vacant seat is reserved extracted by a vacant seat extraction unit based on the boarding section, reservation information, and a travel time value.
