To provide a fitting which can confirm that a family member has returned home or has gone out.SOLUTION: A fitting 1 of the present invention comprises a door 3, a lock 4 provided on the door, and a door/lock state management unit 5. The door/lock state management unit 5 includes a door lock signal receiving unit, a door open/close signal receiving unit, and a mail sending unit.
