Zusammenfassung:To provide a vehicle control device for reducing anxiety of a driver given by a cut-in vehicle, and for reducing possibility of an erroneous execution of control before collision when one's own vehicle passes a preceding vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device comprises a target detection sensor capable of detecting a target located in a front area of one's own vehicle, and a controller that executes control before collision for avoiding collision with the target when a collision condition is satisfied. The controller corrects either collision grace time or threshold time in such a manner that the collision condition on a side corresponding to an adjacent lane is satisfied at earlier timing than that of the collision condition when no cut-in condition is satisfied, when satisfying the cut-in condition comprising any of a first condition under which the adjacent lane is only present on one side of one's own lane; a second condition under which the adjacent lane is preset, and no target is present within a predetermined distance in a front direction of the one's own vehicle in the one's own lane; and a third condition under which present is the adjacent lane where the target straddling a division line for dividing the one's own lane and the adjacent lane.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】割込車両が与える運転者の不安を低減し且つ自車両が先行車両を追い抜く場合に衝突前制御が誤って実行されてしまう可能性を低減する車両制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両制御装置は、自車両の前方領域に位置する物標を検出可能な物標検出センサと、衝突条件が成立した場合に物標との衝突を回避するための衝突前制御を実行する制御装置と、を備える。制御装置は、隣接車線が自車線の片側のみに存在するとの第1条件、隣接車線が存在し且つ自車線において自車両の前方向の所定距離以内に物標が存在しないとの第2条件、及び自車線と隣接車線とを区分する区分線を跨いだ物標が走行している隣接車線が存在するとの第3条件の何れかを含む割込条件が成立した場合において、隣接車線に対応する側の衝突条件が割込条件が成立していない場合の衝突条件に比べて早いタイミングで成立するように、衝突猶予時間及び閾値時間の何れかを補正する。【選択図】図3
