Zusammenfassung:To provide an indoor unit of an air conditioner suppressing an inside of an airtight space from having concentration of a combustible limit or more in a short time when refrigerant leakage is caused, while detecting the refrigerant leakage.SOLUTION: An indoor unit 10 of an air conditioner includes: a housing 15; a heat exchanger 17 disposed in the housing 15; a first refrigerant pipe 70 disposed in the housing 15 and passing through the heat exchanger 17; a connection part 75 connecting the first refrigerant pipe 70 and a second refrigerant pipe 71 drawn from the outside of the housing 15; and a retention part 68 as a space for housing the connection part 75.
