To provide an accident responsibility identifying method for performing a process concerning an accident of an automatic drive vehicle, an operation assisting method, an accident responsibility identifying device, and a computer program.SOLUTION: An accident responsibility identifying device according to the present embodiment, includes an acquisition unit that acquires information about automatic driving of an automatic drive vehicle, and an identifying unit that identifies, on the basis of the information acquired by the acquisition unit, where the responsibility of an accident related to the automatic drive vehicle lies. Further, the accident responsibility identifying device may acquire, by means of an information processing device, information transmitted from a sensor device existing around the automatic drive vehicle, and may identify where the responsibility of the accident lies on the basis of information acquired from the automatic drive vehicle and the information acquired from the sensor device.
