The evaporator (2a) has a plurality of heat transfer tubes (7) arranged in parallel with each other. The eliminator (4a) separates a gas-phase cooling medium and a liquid-phase cooling medium from each other in the cooling medium flowing from the evaporator (2a) toward the absorber (3). The eliminator 4a has a plurality of first plates (10) and a friction member (13a). The plurality of first plates (10) are disposed separately from each other in a gravity direction, and forms a plurality of stages of inflow passages (15). At least a part of the friction member (13a) is disposed in at least one of: a space between the plurality of heat transfer tubes (7) and the plurality of stages of inflow passages (15); an inlet (15a) of at least one of inflow passages (15); and the inside of the inflow passages (15).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
