Zusammenfassung: | To provide a sliding member for a journal bearing that is less likely to damage a surface of a sliding layer when a bearing device is stopped.SOLUTION: The sliding layer has fibrous particles dispersed in a synthetic resin in an amount of 10-35 vol.%, and the sliding layer comprises a sliding surface side region and an interface side region, the interface side region having a thickness of 15-50% of the sliding layer. When the average particle size in an axial cross-sectional structure of the sliding surface side region is defined as d1L, the average particle size in a circumferential cross-sectional structure of the sliding surface side region is defined as d1C, the average particle size in an axial cross-sectional structure of the interface side region is defined as d2L, and the average particle size in a circumferential cross-sectional structure of the interface side region is defined as d2C for the fibrous particles, d1L is 5-30 μm, d1C is 5-20% of d1L, d2C is 5-30 μm, and d2L is 5-20% of d2C. In the axial cross-sectional structure of the sliding surface side region and the circumferential cross-sectional structure of the interface side region, the fibrous particles having a major axis length of 20 μm or more are 10 vol.% or more with respect to the total fibrous particles, and the dispersion index of the fibrous particles is 5 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】軸受装置の停止の際に、摺動層表面の損傷が起き難いジャーナル軸受用摺動部材。【解決手段】摺動層が、合成樹脂中に10〜35体積%で分散した繊維状粒子を有し、摺動層が摺動面側領域と界面側領域からなり、界面側領域は摺動層の15〜50%の厚さを有する。繊維状粒子は、摺動面側領域の軸線方向断面組織での平均粒径をd1L、摺動面側領域の周方向断面組織での平均粒径をd1C、界面側領域の軸線方向断面組織での平均粒径をd2L、界面側領域の周方向断面組織での平均粒径をd2Cとすると、d1Lは5〜30μm、d1Cはd1Lの5〜20%、d2Cは5〜30μm、d2Lはd2Cの5〜20%となる。摺動面側領域の軸線方向断面組織および界面側領域の周方向断面組織では、長軸長さが20μm以上の繊維状粒子は、全繊維状粒子に対して10体積%以上であり、その分散指数が5以上である。【選択図】図1 |
