To provide a slide component capable of suppressing mixing of contamination into an introduction groove part, to maintain excellent lubrication performance and seal function of a slide surface.SOLUTION: An annular slide component 10 is arranged at a position where a rotary machine relatively rotates. On a slide surface 11 of the slide component 10, a plurality of dynamic pressure generation mechanisms 14 are arranged side by side in a circumferential direction, the dynamic pressure generation mechanism being composed of an introduction groove part 15 communicating with a side of fluid F to be sealed and a dynamic pressure generation groove part 9A communicating with the introduction groove part 15 and extending in the circumferential direction in which the slide component 10 relatively rotates.
