Zusammenfassung:To provide a technique of capable of easily developing a color of a pattern onto a metallic material surface.SOLUTION: A laser color development processing method develops a color of a surface of a metallic material 5, by an irradiation data generation step of storing first RGB values of predetermined colors and an irradiation condition of irradiating the metallic material 5 that is an object to be drawn with a laser beam for developing a predetermined color to the first RGB values in an irradiation data generation part 30 in association with the first RGB values and the irradiation condition; an image input step of inputting a drawn image drawn on the surface of the metallic material 5; a region division step of replacing RGB values of each pixel of the drawn image with the first RGB values so that second RGB values of each pixel of the input drawn image become closest values to the first RGB values stored in the irradiation data generation part 30 on the predetermined condition, and thereby performing region division of dividing the drawn image; and an irradiation condition output step of extracting the irradiation condition of the laser beam of each of the pixels from the irradiation data generation part 30 based on the first RGB values allocated in each of the pixels in the region division step, and outputting the extracted irradiation condition to a color marker 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】簡易に金属材料表面に模様などを発色可能とする技術を提供する。【解決手段】描画対象となる金属材料5に対して、所定の色の第1RGB値と、該第1RGB値に対して所定の色を発色させるためのレーザ光の照射条件とを対応付けて照射データ生成部30に格納する照射データ生成工程と、金属材料5表面に描く描画画像を入力する画像入力工程と、入力した描画画像の各画素の第2RGB値が、照射データ生成部30に格納された第1RGB値に、所定の条件で最も近い値となるように描画画像の各画素のRGB値を第1RGB値に置き換えることにより描画画像の領域分割を行う領域分割を行う領域分割工程と、領域分割工程で各画素に割り当てた第1RGB値に基づいて、照射データ生成部30から各画素のレーザ光の照射条件を抽出してカラーマーカ10に出力する照射条件出力工程と、により金属材料5表面を発色させることを特徴とするレーザ発色加工法。【選択図】図2
