To estimate deterioration of a virtual closure.SOLUTION: An estimation device 1 includes: with respect to a virtual closure as the estimation target, an initial hinge thickness identification unit 12 that identifies the thickness of a hinge at the time of manufacture from a model number or manufacturing time of the virtual closure; a current hinge thickness data reception unit 13 receives an input of current hinge thickness of the virtual closure; a breakage time estimation part 14 estimates the life expectancy and the time of breakage until the hinge becomes thick enough to break, etc. by using the thickness of the hinge at the time of manufacture, the current thickness of the hinge, a piece of information of coefficient of hinge thickness relevant to the virtual closure, and a piece of information relevant to the current date and time; and a breakage time display unit 15 displays the life expectancy and the breakage time of the virtual closure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】架空クロージャの劣化を推定する。【解決手段】推定対象である架空クロージャについて、推定装置１は、当初ヒンジ厚特定部１２が、当該架空クロージャの型番又は製造時期より製造時のヒンジ厚を特定し、現在ヒンジ厚データ受付部１３が、当該架空クロージャの現在のヒンジ厚の入力を受け付けて、破損時期推定部１４が、当該製造時のヒンジ厚と、当該現在のヒンジ厚と、当該架空クロージャに係るヒンジ厚係数情報と、現在の日時情報とを用いて、当該ヒンジ部が破断等破損する厚さとなるまでの余命期間及び破損時期を推定し、破損時期表示部１５が、架空クロージャの余命期間及び破損時期として表示する。【選択図】図１
