PEDESTAL OF HONEYCOMB MOLDED BODY, METHOD FOR PRODUCING HONEYCOMB MOLDED BODY, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING HONEYCOMB FIRED BODY

To provide a pedestal of a honeycomb molded body capable of performing holding without deforming the side faces of a honeycomb molded body and further easy in the desorption exchange of a support part abutted against the side faces of the honeycomb molded body.SOLUTION: A pedestal 100 is used for supporting the side faces parallel in a direction in which the cells of a honeycomb molded body elongate. The pedestal 100 comprises: a body part 10 having a groove part 11 elongating in one direction; a flexible sheet base material 21 abutted against the surface of the groove part 11 of the body part 10; a support part 20 with a foam layer 22 adhered to the flexible sheet base material 21 and also abutted against the side faces of the honeycomb molded body; and a fixing member 30 for fixing the support part 20 to the body part 10.
