Zusammenfassung:To provide an absorber comprising a groove for improving body fluid absorption performance and fitness to a wearer and leakage suppression performance, and to manufacture the absorber easily.SOLUTION: A production method is configured so that, for producing an absorber 13 having a groove 22 where there are side walls on both side surfaces, a mask member 161 which is formed to partially block an air flow is arranged so as to face a permeable member 121 of a molding mold 120 comprising a plurality of vent holes and sucking and accumulating an absorber material 13' transported by an air flow, accumulation of the absorber material 13' is executed, the molding mold 120 is supported so as to relatively move to the mask member 161, the mask member 161 is made to extend in the movement direction, for forming a groove 22 along the movement direction. In addition, by changing a length of the direction where the mask member 161 extends to the molding mold 120, a depth of the groove 22 also can be easily controlled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】体液の吸収性能、漏れの抑制性能および着用者へのフィット性を向上させるための溝を有する吸収体を、簡単に製造できるようにする。【解決手段】両側面に側壁が存在する溝22を有する吸収体13を製造するように、気流により搬送されてくる吸収体材料13'を吸引して堆積させる複数の通気孔を有する成形型120の通気性部材121に対向して、気流を部分的に遮るように形成されているマスク部材161を配置し、吸収体材料13'の堆積を実施し、成形型120をマスク部材161に対し相対的に移動するように支持し、マスク部材161を当該移動の方向に延在させることで、当該移動の方向に沿って延在する溝22を形成する。また、成形型120に対してマスク部材161が延在する方向の長さを変更することによって、溝22の深さの制御も簡単に行うことが可能となる。【選択図】図6
