To provide a ball catching tool that may reduce shock when catching a ball.SOLUTION: A ball catching tool has a first thumb insertion part, a first index finger insertion part, a first middle finger insertion part, a first ring finger insertion part, and a first little finger insertion part. At least one of the first finger insertion parts comprises second finger insertion parts 12, 22, 32, 42 in a superposed manner on the first finger insertion parts. The first finger insertion parts are formed by a volar side inner leather 71 and lining inner leathers 11, 21, 31, 41 bonded on it. The second finger insertion parts 12, 22, 32, 42 are formed by hood bases 13, 23, 33, 43 and hood covers 14, 24, 34, 44 bonded on the lining inner leathers 11, 21, 31, 41.
